About the Author

Jupi Bowen is quite tired. They self-publish regularly on PAINHUB, their blog. With just two years in the arts, Bowen’s work has been lauded by Lefty Blondie Press, Sinister Wisdom, and the Giancarlo DiTrapano Foundation for Literature and the Arts. Bowen has had major collaborations with the School for Poetic Computation, Black Zine Fair, and Haymarket Books.

In a rejection email, Roxane Gay wrote that Bowen "definitely [has] something incredible to say”...and Bowen thinks you'll agree.

Beyond the written word, his visual works have been exhibited at the Pilsen Arts Community House, and she does film curation for Otherness Archive. You can find Bowen smoking on their fire escape and talking to the trees.
